– OLADIPO (Ladi) JADESIMI, Executive Chairman
Dr. Jadesimi received her first degree from Oxford University, where she earned a BA in Physiological Sciences. She then attended Oxford University Medical School, from which she graduated as a medical doctor (MD). After Oxford, Dr. Jadesimi joined Goldman Sachs International in London as part of the Investment Banking Division, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. She then attended Stanford Business School, from which she earned her MBA in Business Administration. While at Stanford, Amy completed an internship with Brait Private Equity in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she worked as a transaction executive in Private Equity. After graduating from business school Amy moved to Nigeria where she set up a financial consultancy firm before joining the Management Team of LiLe as Managing Director.
Mr. Davies has been involved in the property management industry since 1998. During this time he has been responsible for various property management projects including country clubs, resorts, property management solutions, ERP solutions, food & beverage management systems, and more. Before coming to Nigeria, Mr. Davies worked at Club Mykonos, a resort which consists of 360 self-catering units, a casino, conference centre, several food & beverage outlets, health & leisure facilities and a yacht basin. He left Club Mykonos as the Business & Financial Manager. He joined LiLE in February of 2008
Mr. Van Der Merwe has been involved with the construction industry since 1975, working for three of the major construction companies in South Africa (Basil Read, Group 5 & Grinaker-LTA) during this time. He also worked in Indonesia and Nigeria for eight years. During his 32 years of construction experience, he has managed major projects from the design phase, through to construction and to final completion and hand-over to clients.
In 2000 he was appointed Area Manager for Grinaker-LTA International, and has been in Nigeria for the last six years, managing construction projects in Port Harcourt and Lagos. During this period he served as a Director for Grinaker-LTA.
Mr. Van Der Merwe joined the LiLE Management Team in November of 2007, heading up the Planning & Development Division. His credentials include a T5 Building Management National Diploma (earned from Pretoria Technicon in 1979), and completion of the Construction Management Program: CMP in Stellenbosch in 2007.
After receiving his Bcom degree from the University of South Africa and a Senior Management Diploma from Stellenbosch University, Mr. van Schalkwyk joined the Southern Oil Exploration Corporation (SOEKOR) in 1979. During 27 years with SOEKOR and PetroSA he was involved in most aspects of oil field supporting and operational activities. He was then appointed as the Logistic Manager for PetroSA in Mossel Bay South Africa, servicing all the offshore facilities from the base. This including a full spectrum of support services for the stand-alone base, which also supplies services to other E and P (Exploration and Production) companies in South African and neighbouring countries’ waters. Subsequently, Mr. van Schalkwyk was a consultant to GRML for over two years before joining the management team of LiLe as Chief Operations Officer.
Holding an MBA in International Business and B.A. in Computer Sciences, Mr. Kassis has spent more than ten years in the IT industry, working for reputable multinational companies in the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Kassis holds many IT-related professional certifications, including MCP, MCTP, CCNA, and CCNSP. He joined the LiLE management team in September 2008 as the Information Technology and Telecommunications Manager.
